The CL final could be hosted in New York in the future, according to media outlet Mogul. From 2021 onwards, there are no confirmed venues for the final.

New kick off times are sh*te IMO

They were the way they were. Finish work at 5, go to the gym for an hour, go home and get the dinner and a bet done for the night, then have the feet up for 7.45

There are only 2 games on early and the other 6 are 8pm, which is only 15 minutes later. For 75% of the games, that's basically no change. Sure, you might miss an early game, but generally it's no big deal.

I'm glad that I can watch two games tonight. I haven't been able to watch Barca since they stopped showing the Spanish league on TV and Liverpool v PSG should be a good game. Looking forward to it.

Wasn’t a mistake by the keeper and was a great goal, but I think a better keeper may have saved it

Spurs should have put this game to bed way before that leveller

Flicking between the two games, Messi with another hat trick and Ousmane Dembele with a cracker.

Harry Kane has looked poor again from the bits I seen.

The tunnel to the pitch is similar to of a subway with graffiti everywhere and the songs from the crowd echo inside. Not the sort of place where your average footballer who goes to ground easy wants to line up. The CL theme was nowhere to be heard either as it was drowned out by the crowd.

Probably warranted for the cringe factor alone. The Mr. Burns style slap/push to the face, the little hair pull and then the blubbering tears once the red was brandished.

You can't go scraping lads, always thought as kids that any purposeful contact with the face/head of an opponent with your hand would be red.

He gave the ref a decision to make and if he thought he pulled his hair or scraped him, which it looked like, he had to go, was stupid.

Ronaldo only given a one match ban for a straight red.

Very convenient

As far as I know the rule for a straight red for violent conduct (which the ref obviously believed was the case) should be a 3 match ban.

but just like the WC when he should have been sent off the powers that be have a little whisper and come to conclusion that we can't ban Ronaldo for 3 games.

Very much so. Liverpool would have been blessed to get the 0-0. Liverpool didn't turn up from midfield up. Some awful passing. CBs holding it together for them and kept them in the game til late. Could well come down to Liverpool Napoli at Anfield in December now.

Napoli PSG back to back will be very interesting games.

4th time in almost 400 games under Simeone apparently. The first time Oblak has conceded 4 for Atletico. Seems Juanfran had an absolute nightmare, which makes the decision to leave Vrsaljko go to Inter even more confusing

Dortmund soaked up the pressure very well for the 20 minutes after half time when Atletico came at them with everything. Axel Witsel in particular was excellent, picking out the right pass each time under pressure.
Wanted to see what this Dortmund team was like against quality opposition and under pressure, was very impressed with their lightning quick counter attacking. Atletico started to melt down a bit in the last 20, the ref Anthony Taylor did a good job.

Only seen bits and pieces of this Dortmund team this season. That midfield of Witsel and Delaney looks very formidable. Bayern team at the end of their cycle it seems, serious chance for Dortmund to win the title this season you would think.

How did Goetze play tonight? Thought his career was nearly over, hadn't he a motor neuron issue or something?

If Napoli beat them the next day they are more or less gone imo. Long way from the top 4/5 teams in Europe if that happens and they effectively go out of the CL 8/9 games shy of the tournaments final.

Two f**k ups in the last two CL games by Thiago Silva

Couldn't have gone much worse for him. Fans confronting players and management after the game at the weekend too.

Greed has won, big finance has won. Whatever small role elite clubs still play in the local communities from which they grew is dwarfed now by their position as global brands.

Couldn't find all the games last night so had a poor choice - and had the last 20mins of the United game for company Dead

a few decent games tonight. But I find the group games pretty hard to get interested in - knock outs or nothing really

For those that follow these things more closely, are Dortmund worth an e/w bet? They can be got at 33/1, according to oddschecker.

Must win game for Spurs but a few first team players rested - Eriksen and Son on the bench.
Unlikely to qualify anyway but would have been good to bring it to the last game v Barca.

Playing the Arsenal on Sunday so that’s obviously on Pochs mind.

Whatever the reasons for the likes of Eriksen being on the bench (I'm presuming it's because he has been in and out with an injury recently), there's the question of who would be in Pochettinos favoured starting 11 anyway. For me the 3 behind Kane should almost always be Alli, Son and Eriksen with 2 CM behind them. It's very up in the air though whether the manager looks at it that way - he really likes Lamela and Moura.

No matter what condition Eriksen is though for a game like this, I think he had to risk him. Also I don't buy into the notion that Spurs haven't a good chance of qualifying if they win tonight. Win this 1-0 and Barca get a point minimum and Spurs are in a good place going into the last game. Inter would have to better Spurs result against most likely a mix and match Barca 11 in that final group game, as Barca will have secured top spot.

Me, said he was over rated
He’s f**ked up to give away goals in his last two CL games, and was poor at anfield. Very good tonight though

Looks like Pochettini knew what he was doing with his team selection anyway.
