Well, they've done it!!! Messi and co live to fight another day. Clap

Actually, it's remarkable the symmetry between their campaign and our Euro 2016 campaign:

Draw the opening match they should have won,
Get tanked 3-0 in the 2nd game,
Snatch a winner with about 5 minutes to go in the 3rd game to qualify.

f**k me he is beyond sh*te for Argentina
Mascherano is running him pretty damn close!

Na Masherano was quality in qualifying, he's definitely past his peak now.

But Di Maria has been lost for well over a year now, absolutely abysmal. His closest rival for the title would be Perez.
Ah right, thought you referring just to this world cup tournament. Thumbs Up

If they persist with the likes of Di Maria, Mascherano and Otamendi, probably yes. Dead

That video of Maradona doing the rounds needing to be helped back into the vip box after the game is quite harrowing.

He won't be around much longer

Argentina were awful yet again. Second half they didn't turn up at all including Messi.
As said the likes of Di Maria and Mascherano were horrendous as were the muck coming off the bench.
Would expect their next game to be their last.

Maradona was taken to hospital after the game.  Struggled to walk.  My guess is he is coked out of his head.  No surprise as coke is the official sponsor of the World Cup and he is in the corporate box getting freebies.

Diego was obviously coked out of it.

He doesn't give a fook.

He probably won't live that much longer, but right now, he's as full of life as he was when he was the GOATEPPAAFT(greeatest of all time, encompassing past, present and all future time).

Diego Maradona is my favourite person in the universe.

It would be a fitting end for him to die of a heart attack five seconds after Lionel Messi has scored the winning goal to give Argentina a 4-3 win with one minute of extra-time left in the final against Brazil.

And then awaken the next morning, cool as a breeze.

You wouldn't put it past him.

That lad Mesa is one of the worst players at the tournament, Banega is far far better. Any idea why he wasn't playing the first two games?

I reckon they'll give France a rattle. This type of result could bring that squad together, start playing for themselves rather than the coach etc.

He was shocking. Cant understand why Dybala isn't getting a run?
They're very poor at the back, wont go far like that unfortunately
Some people just deserve a slap
