Great f**king game . Really enjoyed that. Spain, even without their manager, have to be considered one of the favourites. Ronaldo though - wow...

Some drama today. Uruguay nick it late, Iran even later, and Ronaldo rises up to the occassion.

Spain were miles better there but threw it away. Portugal got three very soft goals - all were giveaways by the Spanish. On another night Spain could have won that 3-0 or 4-0 but self-inflicted mistakes cost them. But they were very impressive in the play and controlled the game throughout.

Isco was f**king majestic. Spains midfield play was a joy to watch. Ronaldo was Ronaldo, just phenomenal. Superb game to watch, best international game I’ve seen in a long time. Spain looked on a different planet at times.

No chance.

The greatest World Cup matches by definition have to be ones where one of the teams will go out. The stakes have to be very high for true greatness to be attained and they weren't tonight.

After the utter sh*tfest that was Morocco v Iran, there looks to be pretty much no chance of either Spain or Portugal going out in this group.

Words cannot express how bad that Morocco v Iran match was. It was pitiful.

Romania v Argentina 1994, England v Argentina 1998 and Holland v Argentina 1998 are the three best World Cup matches I've watched live. All had supreme quality, incredible drama and crucially, they were knockout.

Agree with all of that.

Spain have such a strong team and play great football.
If the players gel they will be very hard to beat.

Thiago has to start next game ahead of Koke, disappointed that Asensio didn’t even get on.
