Ireland underage striker Adam Idah has been on fire in Norwich City’s U23 friendly against Borussia Dortmund in Germany.

The U17s international grabbed four goals as the championship side demolished their German counterparts in an U23s friendly.

time is the stuff that life is made of, don't waste it.

We were robbed lads, no other word for it. For the ref and linesman to make such a precise judgement makes them the sharpest officials in the history of the game. Corcoran first yellow was ridiculous also, ref had it in for us when the Dutch took exception to Parrott taking yer man out of it early second half.

It's fair to assume then this upcoming WC will see numerous keepers booked and retakes awarded yeah?

Not a f**king hope.

Robbed by a horrible coont.

It was only the linesman at that, as previously pointed put by our referee friend Loud and Proud, once the flag was raised the ref had no choice but to order a retake and give the second yellow card.

I know nothing :-)

Yep, Schmeichel was off his line for at least 5 of the 6 penalties he faced, and Subasic was only marginally better. Either enforce the rule or get rid of it, it shouldn't be difficult.
We're decent enough..

Absolute sham of a "rule"
Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Far worse than Corcoran, who at least had a trailing boot on the line. Schmeichel was indisputably off his.

Even worse than Akinfeev earlier and every bit as bad as the Irish young lad.

Kasper Schmeichel, starts behind the line, miles off it saving the penalty. Obviously its a forgotten rule.

Yes, a punter lost a bet. Goalkeeper/Athlete's fault.

Akinfeev a mile off his line for every penalty there; surprise surprise, nothing was done about it. It's been a repeating theme throughout the World Cup.

The keeper must be on the line until the ball is struck. On the line meaning both feet on the line. The keepers foot here is clearly about half a yard off the line. The Irish keeper as shown by the still, was probably touching the line as the ball is struck. The inconsistencies among referees at the exact same tournament are scary. Disgraceful actually.
"I called him an embarrassment to FIFA and to himself," .... He said 'No-one speaks to me like that'.... and I said, "well I do' and that was that."
