More importantly craiglen, did I see you become a star of Polish television in the square earlier?

flag was taken at half time from the match last night, went down and the shoe lace tying it had been cut with something. Was at the corner bordering Polish fans beside the big Galway flag. Anybody come across it??

Just like the lad in Paris pushing over the lad on the moped and everybody going" waheeey" fella of course got pissed and the fellas at the pub were doing the "it's only ctaic we're Irish" routine. You'll always have t**sers at away games. Most are away from the missus amd revert back to being an idiotic teen after having their first ever can of Dutch Gold

Thought everyone was well behaved this time around. No serious messing like in Paris from what i seen.

Why would an Irish fan steal it? What are they going to do with it?

I saw someone rip something down, but when i walked down a few steps he was gone, but now that you have said that 100% a polish fella ripped it down, i do remember seeing that. Sorry bud

Bottom line is , always keep an eye on your flag and if you find someone trying to steal it you get a 'get out of jail free card'

I'm not saying that they weren't NR, just a genuine curiosity as to why! So they can hang them in their bedrooms?

There is a culture in polish club football where hools steal opposition clubs fans flags/scarves and set them alight, a kind of spoils of war scenario.

If this was the Ulster flag it was in the same spot as ours so may have been taken too.
