I got offered it too now that I think of it but the bloke was super dodgy, North African probably. No doubt you'd be ripped off.

I would have thought it would be easier to smuggle stuff into Ireland - just about every time I go through Customs at Dublin Airport on my way home, the customs officers (any that are there) are usually just standing around scratching their holes.

well I've been to Copenhagen and it's pretty tame, can't imagine it's widely available like is is here. Even here... unless you know someone you could hardly just wander around a city and hope to find someone selling it and if you did they'd sell you garbage. Anyway I never saw the coke thing on Ireland trips or around Lansdowne myself...

It's like any city, if you want it you'll have no problem finding it. |

So like, are people smuggling coke with them to various cities? I can't imagine it's that easy to acquire a bag in CPH or Polish cities, unless you're being ripped off and buying sawdust.

To be fair the fans are just replicating what the players get up to on the pitch.

"You're no craic like."
Well that's the response you usually get if you dare question someone's behaviour on an away trip. I guess that's why it usually happens in here. |

Who Do Get What Its About.... maybe it is about getting as drunk as possible, tying a flag to a national monument somewhere like Bratislava and trying to fight a local who looks at you funny at 4am? It's like the meaning of life question. Whats it about. What's it really all about? |

In 10 years of going to away games I don’t think too much has changed. Footballs were being lamped around then just as much as now, lads falling over drunk, missing the actual games etc all just as prevalent then as now.
The older I get the less time I have for it tho, In Paris last year we avoided the large Irish bars, even in Georgia we only hit the hangar at 4am or so. It’s just an age thing for me anyway, thankfully I haven’t seen much fighting bar some 6 foot 5 Polish bird trying to bash Horsebox in Warsaw Edited by 9fingers - 15 Dec 2017 at 6:27pm |
