Enda Stevens is from Crumlin I think.

Williams is from Malahide or Portmarnock anyway, not sure about the rest.
We're decent enough..

Him and Anthony Stokes two of a very few to go to a fee Paying School?

Damien Duff went to De La Salle Churchtown. They are a rugby school but not a fee paying school - in fact they're the only non-fee paying school to ever win the Leinster Senior Schools Cup in rugby (1983 and 1985).

He was a quality rugby player too by all accounts and according to some he had a decision to make between the two sports

Preliminary results seem to be
Northside - Cabra
Southside -Ringsend

I must be the only lad from Cabra who was never good enough at football.

Pierce o Leary like is brother is from Finglas but now would be classed as Glasnevin.
Willo flood Ballymun (yet to hear of another from there surprisingly)

Flood's from Ballyfermot according to wikipedia, I thought Thomas Butler was from Ballymun?

Must be so must have missed the fermot with the Mun LOL. Nearly convinced Madden must not be the case a lot of my friends around similar age knew him personally so I assumed that be the case.

Did Willo flood ever win a senior cap?
He looks like the sort of chap to wear one though, with a pair of Slazenger joggers and a pair of Airmax.

Not that I'm aware of point taken.

Would it be fair to say that football is by far the most popular sport in these areas?

Couldn’t see rugby getting much of a look in, in Cabra / Ringsend.

In years gone by yeah, I can see the likes of Balbriggan, Lucan, Blanch, Tallaght & Crumlin overtaking these areas in the future.
Even now there’s a steady decline in both areas into the 90s/00s
