Interesting paragraph in there

The process of cancelling tickets, which were purchased unofficially, for the second leg game has already commenced and tickets have been traced to their original source.

Tickets selling out incredibly quickly, i would think they are checking each individual sale to ensure bots not used, and its a guarded warning any tickets on seatwave etc will be cancelled

I know nothing :-)

Also....

"The FAI has a zero tolerance policy on ticket touting and will work with stadium officials and An Garda Siochana to monitor this practice."

Aye, except when its the football family or JD sorting his mates

Hope this is true

Got a premium ticket this morning through ticketmaster. Jesus that was a stressful few days. Won't be making the mistake of missing out on the season tickets next year that's for sure!

Whatever about touts, the way in which the ticket selling companies collude in this is the real scandal. Very clear that the Govt needs to step in and do something asap.

I'm guessing you mean ticketmaster and seat wave etc. I agree 110% but the event organisers be or FAI or concert promoter etc need to insist on ticketmaster NOT allowing any sales thru seat wave. Doesn't need to wait for legislation.

I'm a season ticket holder, have been for some time now so i'm not on to complain about not getting a ticket. However I wasn't able to get through to ticketmaster to use my code and give a ticket to lads who go with us to all home games as I usually do. (suits them better to pay as each game arises).

The really frustrating thing is this, all of a sudden there are 50 seater coaches from all parts of Belfast being run for this game by people who NEVER go to Landsdowne Road for supporters who rarely if ever go to games. Anybody shed any light on how this happens, it happened 4 years ago at the Bosnia play off also................

If the FAI and Danish FA don't agree to a 10% away fan ticket allocation then there will be 1,800 additional tickets (give or take a couple of hundred for segregation purposes, I suppose) on sale to Irish fans quite soon, no?

Block bookers could also, did you try ringing the FAI asking could you get a couple of tickets before the presale?

According to some newspaper reports the Danes don't tend to travel in numbers. They only brought 2,000 or so to Sweden when they played them in the Euro 2016 play-offs so 2,500 (5%) will be more than enough. No chance of a 10% deal being done with the FAI. This could mean some returns for the home leg going on sale if the FAI are currently holding 10% in reserve.

I don't think season ticket holders should be pointing the finger or saying "I told you so" plenty of regular match day goers don't have a season ticket for whatever reason and they always manage to get sorted, if every regular be it season ticket holder or not got sorted you find no more than 30,000/35,000 people who fall into this category.

Just like every big match day, we have a massive bandwagon element in Ireland and the very people slating the national team when we "only beat Moldova 2-0" are now throwing out frantic SOS calls that would rival Tom Hanks in Castaway so they can get their hands on a match ticket, despite not attending a game until possibly Bosnia at home two years ago or never.

I'd have thought so anyway! Queue the clowns on facebook complaining the FAI held them back on purpose to shift the premiums this morning!

The fact FAI haven't said publicly that there might be more tickets released makes me hopeful our away allocation will be increased
