He was due to go to Swansea in January and I was looking forward to that. He’s got plenty talent and I like him but is possibly a bit eccentric as seen by his social media outbursts/activity and Hassenhuttls comments. injury issues at a young age are also a concern. A loan move would be nice more regular games although you may see him get plenty game time at Southampton still especially if one or two of their attackers leave (Ings could be out the door).

When he’s fit, he has flashes where his movement and first touch are elite level. He can also finish and is fast as f**k.
On Kenny, he initially said that Obafemi was better in the two rather than a three. Now we’re playing with a two up front I’m sure he’s back in the reckoning. Not like we are overflowing with first team strikers

He’s talented. Go back to his goal against Chelsea on Stephen Day last season. Southampton were getting a runaround but moment of pure quality from him turned it on his head. Poached a great goal against Man Utd as well has shown an instinct to poach/nick goals The big concern is a clear run now from injury. If he keeps his head screwed on and gets that clear run with his pace, touch and his slight eye for a goal he could be a very good player.

From what I've seen I'd rate him higher than Idah.

I see nothing in Idah either. Another player who’ll be in lower leagues in 2 years

Apart from great pace, strength and snippets of good finishing I haven’t seen much either.

You're hardly sticking your neck on the line with these predictions. It's a bolder statement to say one of our players will actually make it as a PL regular.

O’Shea, Bazunu and Collins should be playing in premier league in 5 years - hopefully. Though we do seem to have younger lads that haven’t made first teams yet (Moran, kavanagh, Ferguson, etc), that seem highly rated. But again, a lot of that can be hot air, hype, potential, etc - won’t hold my breath! But going back on topic, obafemi and idah aren’t up to it. Connolly attitude seems up his hole. Collins is our best forward at moment.

I'd agree with all this. All our best younger players are defenders and or goalies. Too much competition in any PL team for attacking players. Most of ours aren't up for it or won't be.

Actually our best striker at the moment is quite clearly Robinson. Others may or may not have more potential and may or may not go on to better things but Robinson is the best we have right now. Was far better in the Championship with Preston than Collins has been with Luton and at a younger age also. Has also looked like he could be a capable EPL player in a better team. I'd expect him to go well in the Championship again next season and overshadow Collins quite comfortably at that level.
Connolly, if he got a run of games or dropped to the Championship, would also do better than Collins at that level I suspect. Collins is probably third in line as Long is pretty much done at this stage. Scully might be next after that, or maybe Hogan even.

Seems as though he has got a kick in the hole and is back fighting great to see.
No matter what people say I think he has a high ceiling
