If you read Sterling’s explanation (which is ridiculous he has to make) on social media, he doesn’t say that he got the tattoo as a tribute to his father who was shot. He says he shoots with his right foot, so that’s why he got it.

He starts by saying his father got shot dead so he promised never to touch a gun, in other words it has nothing to do with gun violence.

What’s behind it all do you think? Racism? Or are the sun trying to curry favour in Merseyside by picking on an unpopular character among Pool fans? 

When city won the league Sterling was photoed sitting on the pitch with Stones and Walker, he posted the photo on his social media account and the gun tattoo was clearly visible then. 
Why have the Sun kept it to now to launch this campaign against him?

The English players were allowed 4 Engliah tv channels in their hotel room in Russia and were asked to choose which 4 they wanted.  They chose Sky Sports News, BBC and ITV to watch football in English (presumably they woupdnt understand what was going on otherwise) amd the channel that was requested the most was ITV2 to watch a programme called Love Island.

Mystery solved.  Southgate has a team full of low intellect simpletons.
