Ramadan ends on 14 June.

They have an exemption for "travelling", for the period they are away from home before their first match.

Is that the day of the opening World Cup game? Might be a good day to go to the East End for some food!

Think I've read before that a lot of sport stars get an exemption. I know Ozil has before anyway.

Watching Ozil at times you'd swear he was permanently observing Ramadan.

very hard match to call, on the one hand Liverpool have been brilliant this season and deserve to win it imo, on the other hand Real Madrid are going for 3 in a row and they just know how to win big games and have all the experience.

I hope Real win but you couldn’t begrudge Liverpool winning either.

3-1 Madrid 😉🙏

Very hard to call.

Real going for history. Not since Bayern / Ajax in the 70’s has a team won 3 in a row.
It would make Zidane a god too.
For long periods against Juve and Bayern they were second best and their league form shows this team needs fresh blood.
I read 6/7 of the players that played against Liverpool 4 years ago will play tonight. For Liverpool that number is zero.

Liverpool have been the best team in the tournament.
Talk of an easy draw is bull as you can only beat what’s in front of you and they have been convincing in each game. Scored at least 5 against every team.

Well the big day in club football has arrived, and nearly every pub in Ireland will be infected with the worse type of gobshoite you can imagine, coonts in Liverpool tops speaking in scouse rhymes from their well positioned seats or better known as barstoolers, hopefully by the time it gets to the 90th minute this game is done and all these w**kers have slinked out the side exits like a river of blood running down the street so I can enjoy my fckin pints in peace

You'd be better off sulking at home until the game is over.

If Liverpool win he would be better off staying there until about 2050.
