Madrid will be strong favourites in the final simply because they have a far better side than Roma and Liverpool.

Just like AC Milan in 05 were.

I would fancy Madrid more if it was over 2 legs but a final? I would only have them as slight favourites tbh.

Correct, just because Madrid are strong favourites doesn't mean they are guaranteed to win it.

You can't imagine Liverpool missing the chances that Bayern did (although Mane has form for missing easy chances), but I never would have thought Bayern would have missed some of the chances they created too, especially in the first leg.

It's been a brilliant tournament so far. Hopefully the last two games continue in the same vein. For the neutral, I'd love to see Roma give Liverpool a big shock and push them to the limit but ultimately my preference is for a Real v Liverpool final. It would be a better occasion IMO.

If Roma manage to beat the odds and get past Liverpool then they will deserve huge respect. It would be silly to write them off at that point but I still wouldn't fancy them at all vs Real. Liverpool and Real should be a fascinating spectacle though. Two teams who should go at each other with loads of goals in them.

It's perfectly poised for Liverpool. Roma needing to score should leave a lot of counter-attacking opportunities for Liverpool. They might miss the Ox's ability to carry the ball on the break though, but should still have enough to win.

Is Mane fit for tonight?

The odds on both teams to score tonight are 4/11. As short as I've ever seen for this bet in a match.

Unfortunately, that's not the case at all.. Madrid 8/11; Liverpool 5/4; and Roma 33s.

This.

Liverpool only need 1 goal to completely take the wind out of Roma.

You'd have to think that if Lewandowski was on form that he'd have usually gotten 1-2 goals over the two legs, there's a clip of Kerr saying if the Bayern keeper was in the United Churches League he'd be dropped. He hasn't seen our keepers this season LOL

That 9/1 about Roma qualifying is an abysmal price. Stranger things have happened, and all it takes is a dodgy pen and red card and the momentum could hugely swing in any game for a 3 goal win. The gulf in quality between these sides the last day was so massive though, that 9/1 is awful. That game wasn't anything like the Barca Roma tie, where by in all accounts of the Camp Nou game Roma were very unlucky to lose by the margin they did. At Anfield, Liverpool were worth probably more than a 5 goal win imo, unheard of in a CL semi. So just from a betting perspective, it's a terrible price imo. If shooting for a decent odds bet, I actually think Roma under 0.5 goals could be a runner. 9/2 odds in Boyles. Even with the clown Lovren back there, Liverpool are a hugely improved side defensively in the past few months.

Dunphy talking as if Liverpool are on the verge of going out LOLLOL  only way I could see them blowing this is some rank refereeing again, all going in Roma's favour.

You probably thought the same of Barca in the Quarters when they played away to Roma
