I've never seen a team luckier to win the final. Blessed to get that last min pen v Juve, blessed that Bayern didn't beat them over 2 legs, blessed that Salah got injured and Karius was in nets tonight.

Nothing between the teams tonight bar the goalkeeper blunders and a one in a whatever strike. If I wAs a pool fan I wouldn’t be too despondent. sh*t happens but you gave it a go. Kudos to Mane and Robertson who had a good game.

Good sides know how to win big games and that’s exactly what Real are, they haven’t been good like you say but they are bloody winners and have just won 3 in a row which is bloody incredible and Zidane deserves so much credit it. 

Feel for Karius tbh but I always felt they were getting away with not signing a good keeper and it has bit them on the arse big time.

Would agree with you about them knowing how to win. Also their strength in depth. Having Bale on the bench is an absolute luxury, however I feel like he won't be there next season.

The saddest conclusion I can come to is that for the second final in a row, a truly marvellous overhead kick is overshadowed by something else. Mandzukics effort last year was lost in the result and more people will remember Karius than Bale in years to come.
