how are they not calling that? They have a ref 10 yards from it. A linesman 30 yards from it. A 5th official 5 yards from it. Desperate call. Liverpool making hard work of the 2nd half by not keeping the vall, turning it over way too much.

Game was in garbage time in the second half. Really poorly managed by the players who thought they could just stroll through it. The one worry Liverpool have is Arnold who is still very raw defensively, and against Real I can see them targeting that side of the defense with him and Lovren time and again if both are starting. The midfield, like they did against City, need to cover that side better and give them a bit of a dig out.

Henderson is an easy target because he's not got the skill set or flair of the likes of Salah, Pogba, Pirlo etc.

Henderson does a solid job for Liverpool, keeps things simple and most importantly sacrifices himself for the benefit of the team.

Liverpool were 5-0 up at one time, and ended up winning 7-6.

I appreciate that getting the job done is what counts, but its not exactly a flawless performance. I suspect Madrid would see exploitable weaknesses.

Anyhow you're fully entitled to your opinion, I just think Hendo gets a raw deal even though his role in the Liverpool team is extremely basic and not in the slightest bit flashy.

Got away with tonight, but more composure in the box and Roma could have done the unthinkable. Liverpool's right side of midfield was appalling, the young full back was left totally exposed time after time. Interesting final, Madrid should win handily. There vast experience will see them through. There defence is better than Liverpool's and will score goals. Liverpool have scored a lot of goals in quick clusters especially at Anfield. Can't see that happening against Ramos & Carvahal.
