I like this jersey, bit plain but definitely better than the last two we have had. We haven't had a great home jersey in a long time, away ones have been a bit better.

Will the players be visible against the grass for the viewers?  It's hard enough to spot Collins, Hendrick and Hourihane as it is.
Maybe its part of the plan. Might get the Danes to pass it to our lads thinking they are passing into open space

As bad as it is, and it is horrendous, how often do you see a jersey now and think it is nice? Most jerseys are terrible.

The late 80's - early 90's was the golden era for jersey designs.  They have been particularly bad since 2000.  Cant think of any nice jerseys for any team after that.  Nike in particular are horrific.  Name one nice Nike kit ever.

Agreed,You're right ,probably about one in twenty on the whole now are decent looking jerseys.Come on though,I mean how hard is it? green and white are pretty straight forward to come up with at least, a decent effort.

I also don't get this obsession that New Balance seems to have with the colour gold and Ireland .

Getting the colour wrong, whether done before or not, really is criminal.

just awful. Not a fan of green shorts with green shirt. Open to correction but the white away is also meant to be used with white shorts. But clashed with Switzerland’s white shorts, so green was used. Not getting the attraction with one colour kit.

It's amazing the negativity surrounding the jersey. It's nowhere near our worst (that debacle in 2012 takes the biscuit) or best. It's a decent effort ruined by the awful 3 logo.

It's a sign of getting old when lads are complaining about jerseys not being the same as the late 80's and early 90's tops. Repeating the "back in my day" line. Yeah it's true, nothing is as good as it used to be and everything is sh*t these days!

In saying that, I picked up an 86 Adidas jersey the other night for a good price, will stick to retro shirts for the foreseeable.

I think this would have been a lovely jersey with white shorts

OMG that is rank. And to think of some of the class jerseys we had in the 90s. Should be a petition started to ban this happening.

We're now up to a jersey a new home jersey a year standard. Whatever about a league club, they'll get 40-50 outings of a home jersey in a year, how many did Ireland wear the last one for?
