Another few months without a goal and he will be showing the kind of form that Mick likes in his strikers
Pied Piper to: Baldrick, Brendan 88, 9Fingers, Borussia and more...

I think that’s a partnership that can keep us up next season.

To me, McGoldrick appears to be a natural Number 10, who drops deep, collects the hall, and has the strength and precision to release it. With a partner like Maguire a lot more could be achieved then playing him on his own.

He was fairly prolific for the short period they actually played him through the middle. Managers keep putting him out on the wing probably due to his size but I think he is far better playing 9.

Usually wide left, up to Seanie to step up his game and keep his place

Collins is so limited. Maguire is a far better footballer and has to be involved at some stage tomorrow night

Would he make the Georgian team? Perhaps. Would he make them any more potent? Doubtful.

I understand the concept that in the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king. However,  there are plenty of superior options to him in a green shirt.

Also, he is hardly the standard of player you would change the way the team plays to accommodate him.

100% yes

Collins is like a lad who won a competition to get a game for Ireland. Shouldn't be near the squad.

Not sure on that! Collins is a better goalscorer, Maguire would have the edge on all round play! 5 minutes to go if we needed a goal I would rather we brought on Collins.

The problem with McClean isn’t the lad himself, his work rate and enthusiasm are very commendable, but by playing him we can only end up playing one way.
His best role should be as impact substitute, someone who comes and gives everyone an injection of impetus and energy, not as a starter.

Could you exaggerate any more?

You can't even spell his name ffs and it might be better to judge their performances after the game.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

There's certainly no exaggeration with McClean anyway, regardless of how he spelt his name.

Giving the ball away 25 times against Georgia must be some record.

Hopefully Mick sees sense and plays Maguire wide left.
