Great to see Socrates being recognised for his significant contribution to our domestic game
Obviously his old friends at Shelbourne, UCD and the Royal College of Surgeons lobbied hard for him to get the award

I was delighted for Pavel Nedved when he won the award in 2011. Very well earned by him.

What are we gonna do for International goal of the Year this year?
The senior team have managed one goal in 7 games (Duffy header V Bulgaria) The U21's have score 1 in 2 games, but it was an OG. The women have scored 1 goal from 4 games.
Do we include Hourihan and Brady's penalties in the shootout? |
I'm sure a ladys goal can be found for the Wokeites |
