With Rice in the team, we were well on track to qualification.
He falls out and we've one point in four games - and that point against one of the smallest countries in the competition.

What a crock of sh*t.
I read one of the players saying we overachieved by finishing third! What kind of nonsense is that? We’re a historically superior footballing country to both Israel and Norway and should be expecting to beat them at any level. Granted you won’t always finish where you want, but we should have been confident of claiming four points off both of these teams.

Might as well call it off with some of the quotes from King in that article!
"But to face Germany in a big stadium in Heidenheim and hold them at 2-0, creating a few chances and hitting the post at the end ourselves, is more than acceptable for me." The end line sums it up.

Fourth seed by virtue of Noel King’s incompetence.

That's just as sickening as the MoN situation. He is making the people out to be deluded because they believe we should be doing better and are not happy with the sh*t that is being put out by our U-21 and Senior team. U-21 have failed for 20 years.

Surely the 2 gauges for success for the 21s has to be :
- Qualification for tournaments - Progression of players into the senior team Those factors should determine whether somebody gets a new contract or not. Would be pretty clear in this case.

That's all bollix. You only need to look up the road at how Baraclough is doing with the Norths 21s. They qualified for the playoffs from a tougher group than ours, including beating Spain away in the process. Their pool is smaller than ours too (one big differnece is that they're not capping every single english born player that qualifies and plays in the 4th and 5th tier of english football)
Crock of sh*te. Getting really pissed off now with this noe. How does a manager, at any level of the game, keep his job for decade with despite constantly not performing to the level required. I don't think there is another FA in UEFA who would allow this to happen |

IF and it’s a big IF, the likes of Parrott and Idah turn out as good as we hope, they’ll not play too many games for the under21s, and will go right into the senior set up. Idah especially is physically ready for the Championship right now, and I’d be hopeful he’ll see game time in some form this season at Norwich.
