I think both of our U21 games kick off at 6pm Irish time.  Kosovo away on Friday (7pm local time) and Germany in Tallaght on Tuesday.

That is not our strongest under-21's squad.

No place for Caoimhin Kelleher which is disappointing.

Ni Jimmy Dunne ? Should be starting never mind in the squad .

Apart from that happy enough, would of liked to see Parrott and Mcauley there aswel and Jack Byrne but hes fallen out with King.

Annoying that this game is on the same night as the Poland friendly.

Strange squad. Can’t argue too much with the core players, but we evidently have much, much better options for several spots:

Kelleher, Bazunu > Bossin
Jimmy Dunne, Ryan Nolan > Danny Kane
Connor Ronan > Jake Mulraney
Adam Idah, Aaron Connolly, Ryan Cassidy > Joe Quigley

And why only 18 players? Wouldn’t it be better to run the rule over a bigger group? Missed opportunity

You asked if I'd be anyone from history, fact or fiction, dead or alive:
I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995"

Bazunu will probably be benching behind Corcoran for the 17s so it's a bit premature to suggest he should be thrown straight into the 21s.

Connor Ronan and Ryan Nolan are the stand out omissions

It seems like the under-21s is picked on the basis that players have first team senior football experience - regardless of how low a level that experience is at.

The striking options are poor and I agree that some of the under-19's are probably better than the likes of Mulraney and Quigley.

Rice will be a huge miss against the Germans. Himself Cullen and Manning in midfield would be quite decent for under-21 level.

Lets hope that Ronan Curtis can continue his fine form.

Aidan Keena is another striker who probably should be in the squad in my opinion.

In fairness, aside from O’Hara he is the only underage goalkeeper we have playing first team football

He's got a handful of games under his belt but playing second fiddle to Mannus now.
