They have signed that American lad Dike who looks good so it's a good time for Robinson to find the net and would be a good time for him to pull his socks up a bit with a view to keeping his place.

Looks to have been a game changer having come off the bench with 15 minutes to go at 0-0 and grabbed 2 assists in a 3-0 win.

Robinson on the bench again with big Andy Carroll straight in for his debut after signing yesterday. Both Grant and Phillips preferred as support for him.

Robinson is joint top in goal contributions (a mile ahead of the others) for WBA this season: Karlan Grant - 10 goals, 4 assists in 28 games. Robinson - 6 goals, 8 assists in 28. Phillips - 3g, 2a in 24. Mowatt - 3g, 1a in 21. Diangana - 2g, 1a in 26. Dara O'Shea - 2g, 0a in 5. Hugill - 2g, 0a in 21 etc etc With WBA now sliding down the table, & the fans not at all happy with the style of play, if Ismael is leaving Robinson out for any reason other than rest then he's trying to get fired.

I honestly don't think he's that good a player. He's obviously not contributing much in general play. In fairness to Ismael, he's got consistently poor ratings from the press whenever he starts.

Tbf Robinson has always looked like a player that would be suited to playing in a free role behind the striker as a No.10 if you will. For Ireland it's certainly the case surprised Ismael hasn't tried it.
The signing of Andy Carroll sums it up really desperation. Love Ismael but to my mind he's on borrowed time there. Just seems to be falling apart.

They be int he playoffs and all Jeff. Madness. Wots Ishmael know bout English football Jeff? Seriousy, come on! West Brom need a gaffer like Paul Clement Jeff. He knows the club and what the fans want. Bryan Robson might be interested. He has unfinished business there.
