Federer has not dropped a set yet.

He will get to the final. Cant see anybody in his half causing him any problems.

Two huge shocks this morning

Top half of the draw
Edmund beat Dimitrov in 4 sets.
Cilic beat Nadal (Nadal retired in 5th but it was Cilic had to take him to 5)

Bottom Half
Sandgren v Chung
Berdych v Federer

Only Fed has won the Aus open before.

I don't know, Cilic is playing very well. Dimitrov on the other hand is a complete bottler.

This is his 14th 1/2 final in 15 years.... thats an amazing run.

Hope he wins it and gets to No. 20.

The guy Chung looks to have some game. He could be a contender at the French and US Open very soon. He has some thights on him, like Becker when he burst on the scene at 17.

Roger v Cilic on Sunday morning Clap

There will be a new womens champion tomorrow

Halep (who had to get a reduction Thumbs Down) v Wozanicki (who could do with an enhancement)

As disappointing as that was it's made some difference to her game Clap

Happy to see either win and in the mens I can't see Cilic troubling Fed too much.

Disappointed for Halep. Class player and has been so close now a few times in the last couple of years. Always liked Wozniacki as well though. Great to see her back in a final and winning her first one. Womens tennis is much more watchable now than when that juiced up yolk is running around on the rampage.

Both are good players but like so many in the women’s game are mentally weak.
Halep absolutely threw away the French Open final last year.

Woznicki lost about 5 finals in a row last year but won a couple of tournaments near the end.
With the Williams sisters getting on there is nobody in the women’s game who looks like they will dominate for years.
I think Woznicki will win another now that the pressure is off.

Men’s final is good.

Fed won the first 4 games and that was the first set done. 6-2

Since then it has been with serve. 5-5 in the second.
Big set this - if Fed wins it’s over in 3.

Huge tie break for Cilic there. I had a little nibble at him at 7/2. Even though its Federer I thought that price was way too big. I think you're being a little harsh on Halep Zizu. She's been really consistent the past couple of years, I think she just needs to get over the line in a big one soon to really kick on. That French open final last year was just a mad one! Ostapenko just started hitting winner after winner. Just a mad match where Halep did bottle it a bit but Ostapenko was incredible. Cilic with a big chance at 30-30 on feds serve there. Feck sake!

Fed on fire at the moment.
A break up in the 4th and hasn’t been broken yet.
