Why oh why did I go back into Clones town after the match yesterday Dead

Great performance from our boys though, was thoroughly impressed by their strength and running through the middle from the likes of McCann and Donnelly. When we pushed up on Donegal kickouts we cleaned up. Hampsey completely nullified Michael Murphy and managed to notch two scores himself. Colm Cavanagh was immemse as per usual. Only disappointment was our missed goal chances-should have had another 2 at least, big Sean very selfish for one in the first half. And how Ronan O'Neill managed to get a run out before Lee Brennan and get a 7/10 in the Irish News is beyond belief. Looking forward to Ulster final in 4 weeks Big smile

Jesus Christ Walls, Derry are pure muck, a decent club team in Tyrone would beat them

For the third year on the trot, Westmeath will be heading to Croker to take on Dublin in Leinster. Third time lucky?

I fully expect us to win but we have been malfunctioning a bit all year. As I say I still fully expect a victory but out of Laois, Sligo, Derry and Longford, Derry in my view are the toughest draw.

hmmmm, having seen Derry against Tyrone too many times to remember this past 2 years I would have confidence in saying that they are the weakest of those teams-their last two championship first round outings have been the worst I have ever seen. Longford dumped them out of the qualifiers twice in recent years too.

Bad news re Keegan and Cafferkey-serious?

Happy to get a home draw after yesterday's performance. Longford like have a history of beating some big teams in the backdoor so hoping our young lads can bounce back

A run in the backdoor might do us no harm allows the young lads get more championship experience away from the minefield that is Ulster (not what I personally wanted thought we could give Tyrone a run of it yesterday sadly it wasn't to be)
the closest i will ever come to playing for ireland https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0_7w4JyvI4

Down up by 5 with 20 minutes left, decent game. Would be the first major shock of the summer.
