No bother at all mate. Fair play to Graham for doing what he did. I was only a messanger. Delighted you got it back tho. Would have been awful to lose it. Some memories.

Hah, I was tempted by that night train but the direct flights were too tempting. I'll maybe do it the next time we draw them.

Ended up drinking jaegerbombs in the old bus bar on Saturday night after about five hours sleep the night before.... wasn't clever and I don't really remember getting back to the hotel. Sunday was largely spent lying in bed until 4 in the afternoon with a hangover, hence missing the walking tour, which was a bit annoying. Went down to Transnistria on Monday which was grand having avoided doing it on Saturday because of the rain. Didn't have time to do the wine tour which actually sounds like it was decent.

Anyway, if we draw them again, I'll definitely do a wine tour and probably a walking tour as well. Could definitely have done more when I was there.

The craziest place I saw was the bizarre bar in the underpass between the Hotel Chisinau and the Beer House. There were always people in it too, generally dancing in the middle of the afternoon, or at 3am, or even at 10am, despite the fact it looked like easily the sketchiest place in all of Chisinau.

Did ya go into that place? I wanted to go in but I wasn't brave enough Embarrassed

Hah, did I f**k! I didn't want to risk leaving minus a kidney, thanks all the same.

did you do the wine tour in the end?
I know nothing :-)

Sky bar put up photos from the weekend, plenty of familiar faces in here

There is some variation in standard in these photos !
I missed out by not going there on one of the nights - Did get a good video from Keitho from the place on Saturday night though !

We went up to top flight and one of our group was explained how it works, which he took as you give us your credit card details and that one person pays for everything.

wasn't till the flight home where it was explained properly where you top up a SKYcard and just use that. The f**king idiotCry

Absolutely class place went here both nights, we were treated like kings and one of our lads ended up sleeping in the shopping centre on the Friday night/ Saturday morning, I also waited almost half an hour waiting for a taxi back to hotel cosmos for it to drop me to the other side of the road LOL the €60 bottles of JD went down too well Dead

A few of us tried to get in before dinner Saturday but a woman locked the door and put closed sign up when she heard us coming. One did make it inside, done a bit of a dance and came back out again LOL

6 of us got it and that in itself is a story to tell! The cabin was absolutely tiny with sweat pouring off it and the windows physically couldn't be opened. There was a bar on it selling Russian beer with a barman that had definitely had a few pints on the job, he was hammered! At one station he decided he'd had enough and just hopped off the train with our giving one of us the drink we paid for.
At around 5am when leaving the Romanian border an officer came into our cabin and asked if we had anything to declare (guns and drugs) and another lad checked our passports. They were grand but the same happened when we were entering the Moldovan border and your man checking the passports took no sh*t. One of our lads was asleep when he came in and it was impossible to wake him up and this big Moldovan officer was just shouting 'passport! Passport! At him like a robot. We thought he was going to hit him. He then disappeared with everybody's passports for a good 45 minutes to an hour. A very strange and long journey that was worth experiencing but I don't think I'd do it again!

I can confirm that bloody Moldovan officer took no sh*t at all! LOL
Was completely conked and enentually woke up and nearly gave him my phone, then asked which passport did he want! He was not one bit impressed LOL would definitely recommend getting the train should we draw them again!

Lovely picturesque bus journey through the Romanian hills with a 24 pack and land in Chisinau around 8 I think it was, was rather disappointed with the border as was hoping could get up to some mischief on it.

First pub after the hotel we hit, walk down the stairs to be greeted by everyone stopping and looking at the 3 of us to see wtf walked in LOL stroll up to the bar and demand 3 vodkas so everything settled down but they immediately closed, few pubs later getting a taxi to draft bar to meet some moldovan lads and start getting paranoid the taxi man was taking us the wrong way so few arguments later he handbrakes the car round and back to town via instruction of some young one on the other end of the phone, actually went back out but had missed the lads.

The saturday night trip after jacks in a taxi where nobody knew where we were actually wanted to go so he just drove us around for ages with the 5 of us crammed in singing the same 2 tunes much to his amusement. Best craic of the trip after the match sunday, drinking in draft with the Zimbru lads from the fans game and end up in a karaoke bar with them where we were greeted to the sight of about 7 local lads singing terrible songs all wearing pink bunny ears LOL  ended up getting the blur/oasis/irish songs blasting Clap

Had great craic with all of the locals all trip bar one wee fuk who lifted Drog Addicts fleg - 3 of us walking along fleg under my arm and the fkr grabbed it from behind, after a short struggle did give chase but I'll let Daboi best describe how that went LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

Other highlights-
Dacia supporting taxi men randomly stopping the car to fuk of Zimbru for no good reason
Cheap vodka Wink  (to be drunk straight)
Hoskins after the fans game haha
The Zimbru lads - all great craic and have a great stadium
Great craic at the game itself

Oh and a side note, was I the only eejit in the skybar paying for everything on his visa debit? LOL

I had money on my sky card but I was too locked to even remember that I had it and paid for everything by cash!
