70 mins is not plenty to do an unprotected transfer

S1 or S8. Takes about 45 mins. Otherwise just go to the biergarten between terminals 1 and 2. There is a small brewery thee

Go to the train ticket desk when you arrive,ask for a Bayern Ticket, that will do up to 5 people on the one ticket for 30 Euro or 25 if you buy it online,21 if you are alone,take the S8 to Munich,will take 35-40 minutes,the same ticket can be used for any train you take to get around Munich and will also get you back to the airport.
