No visa needed if it's a layover like with the Aeroflot flight, if you don't leave the transit zone of the airport

Connection is very tight when I looked at it, 50 mins on way home. Normally fine but they only fly 4 times a week to Dublin so a delay could take ages to get you home.

They'd presumably just stick you on Lufthansa or SAS, all in the same alliance.

Transfered there before and took about 20 mins plane to plane.

Dublin to Tbilisi return stopping in Munich both ways is €369 going out on the 10th returning early on the 13th. You could always book this and write off the Dublin to Munich flights, if it works out cheaper.

Problem being you wouldn’t turn up for the first flight so the rest will be null and void

On the other hand, for some reason it seems it is only €360 return from Nuremburg with Luftie. I know it's a pretty long way up there but it's only an hour and €20 each way on the ICE if you book in advance.

Possibly but not definitely. On the way out, you would have to go to Nurnberg otherwise the whole lot would be cancelled by them but on the way back, if you've hand luggage only, you might be able to get out without them catching you out. It's a matter of personal choice if you want the risk.
