And Potter said it was minor which kept him out of Liverpool because there was only a couple days between both games.

Also added "You have to perform, you have to play and you have to accept the coach makes decisions". Jamie McGrath is still out injured currently after missing his last two games and has been named.

St Mirren are expecting McGrath back this weekend.

Kenny was quizzed on it in his press conference just there.

The journalist even quoted Potter.

Fact is he has a heel injury, hasn't played or trained since Leicester away on 27th Oct, inst available this weekend but could be available for our games next week. Said he spoke to Connolly yesterday and he admitted himself that he wasn't feeling right and probably wouldn't be right for our games either and best he be left out to recover.

You mention McGrath and that is true, but not all injuries are the same and everyones bodies are different in recovering.

Sure is McGrath not back in contention to play this weekend for St Mirren?

A slightly muddled response between Kenny and Potter but the gist of it is that he's not in the squad because he's not fully fit, rather than a selection decision.

Silly but harmless comment. Probably the 36th most offensive comment this week well behind the borderline libellous comments about his alleged behaviour in Galway recently.

Are you salty over my comments about Obafemi or something?

Somewhere in between. He was taken out of the firing line with a minor injury used as a face saving exercise.

Connolly close to return as Potter lauds Evan Ferguson (rte.ie)

Expected back in the squad this weekend. Clearly has been recovering from heel injury, good to see!
