So many times the tip-tap was going nowhere, creating nothing, causing frustration. No Plan B whatsoever, no tactical flexibility. Kenny looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights. He'll be playing the same players in March - if we fail to score yet again in the first two games he should resign.

This is contrary to the facts.
We created far more chances per game than before and our finishing let us down.
We closed off our early defensive frailty and by keeping the ball far better, gave us more chances and the opposition less.

The negativity is based on results and sure, those who didn't watch the games could come to a negative conclusion.

Had Connolly scored v Slovakia, we'd be in a whole different world.
The margins are small and our improvement are there for anyone to see, if they open their eyes.

Connolly didn't play v Slovakia

sorry yep....which game was he he snatched a loose ball and went in on goal and curled it wide?!

Hourihane missed the sitter not AC who didn't play due to social. Distancing breach.

Really good to see a premier league game with 4 irish starters and another on the bench.

They finally picked out one of his runs after two or three occasions where he found good positions but was ignored. He couldn't generate any power at all in the shot, though. Not a great chance by any means but something I've noticed before with his shooting technique.

Connolly seems to try to make a lot of runs in behind the defender, however he keeps trying to do this when he's marked by the defender, meaning it would take a pass of world class precision to find him.

He needs to look for the space better or he needs to drop a bit further for the ball to feet and maybe start his run a little deeper

Brighton trailing 1-0. Good run from Stevens and a good pullback from McGoldrick for the SU goal.

be glad to see sheffield utd get the 3 points. connolly must have touched the ball about 3 times the whole game. his style not suited to brighton at all, although you would think he would need to try and adapt if he is to get game time

The Connolly Maupey front two is really poor, i suspect they don't really like each other but can't confirm that.

In terms of watching them play together as a front two, there is clearly no desire to form a partnership. You get the same response if someone asked you to kiss your own sister.

Connolly out on the left seemed to have more of an impact on the game.

They really give him very little to work with. Missed a great headed chance there but I think his partner Wellbeck actually pushed him in the back and wrecked his timing, kind of sums Brighton up
