His loyalty to Aaron Connolly throughout 2021 didn’t go down well with senior performers that weren’t convinced about him and he was bombed out after a draw with Azerbaijan."

Harsh on Azza

I wonder is that down to Connolly's personality as well his performances. Maybe they got sick of him being a moaner as performances weren't compensating for it.

Was due to play in a behind closed doors game against PL opposition this Tuesday but left the stadium in a protective boot.

Had went for a scan on Monday gone after suffering a reoccurrence of the toe injury. Lad has no luck when it comes to staying fit.

Suppose I should have listened to the poster who said he got injured in the warm up instead LOL
I'd imagine every forum just mirrors the other in terms of rumors. Especially when it comes to Connolly!

Hull are in talks with him to extend his contract so they're clearly happy with him. This reoccurring toe injury seems to be an issue for him

If he was fully fit hed be starting games, players with minor injuries and fitness issues are usually named on the bench if they can manage 5/10/15 minutes as an impact sub.

Its not all that unusual, especially with 2 of the last 3 games he hasnt featured in were wins where they were leading games and seeing them out.

Only really yesterdays game where they were 3-1 down with 20 minutes to go Id have expected him to be brought on when they were chasing the game.

He pulled out of the squad last month through injury, has only played 14 minutes since and was said to have been in discomfort then so probably still carrying injury.
