Didn’t seem to be able to read the game at all and was caught out of position 4/5 times. Horton had a busy night because of him.

Going off the way the other lads were trying to communicate with him he doesn't speak a lick of English which probably doesn't help calm things back there.

thought radkowski was decent enough, recovered mistakes a couple of times, looks pacy. Horton was excellent. Front three looked a threat and midfield was solid as. Things will improve considerably when they start to gel too, just need to settle down a bit. JT in goal does worry me, seems prone to something stupid as well as making great saves, he needs to stop trying to be a smart arsed and just clear the fu@&ing thing

Talbot save at the end was unbelievable , will forgive the few mistakes his first competitive game in a long time .
Thought Bohs were decent on the night but and had an urgency and aggression to their play which was summed up by Flores goal, long way to go but green shoots.
"The Football Grounds of Europe" about Dalymount that :- "You walk down lanes you'd expect to find a backstreet mechanic only to stumble onto a national stadium steeped in tradition and history"

yeah I’m being way too harsh on JT there, apologies to him.
So many good signs, decent cb pairing, midfield great, Flores brilliant all night , front 3 mobile quick and changing,
green shoots indeed. I’ve 50 on at 40/1 btw so hope does indeed spring eternal!! Can’t believe the place has sold out again, wonderful times

Thought he was the poorest of the back line but I’d give him the benefit of the doubt as it was his first league game. Has all the physical attributes so would expect him to get better as the season goes on.

Cork’s LB was very good. Had Connolly in his pocket all game.

A second Polish centre half joins, Krystian Nowak, from Unv Cluj in Romania.
Really looking forward to Friday in Dalymount, 1300 extra Bohs fans compared to last season, should be a great atmosphere

There is not a million pubs in Phibsboro.

I usually go to the Jodi with the lads who are ST holders but I could only get a DK ticket.

Get a grip, the Garda and dfb are already twitchy about access to the bars from the Jodi ffs, the numbers will be restricted anyway, once a certain number are in the bars that’s it.
Plenty of boozers nearby for a pre game bevvy anyway, and I’m sure post game access will be allowed as the crowd heads out.
