a little surprised by the result great effort didn't see what went on between the two lads thought it was just verbals but a nice home win to round it off nicely taken goal by Promise good option to have but Georgie will start even if not fully fit I would reckon in the final on to sligo and then the big one .

Routine home win , 3/3 against Rovers at home this season they really can’t cope with Dalymount .

"The Football Grounds of Europe" about Dalymount that :- "You walk down lanes you'd expect to find a backstreet mechanic only to stumble onto a national stadium steeped in tradition and history"

Promise has really stepped up in the last few weeks. It's not often you'd see O'Brien and Hoare being bullied off the ball. If he can improve his finishing and work on getting into the box more, he'll be an able replacement for Georgie when he leaves.
Big win considering Derry won too, and with the players we were missing too. Apart from being caught out for the goal, I thought Wilson did well. A mad few minutes after the first goal Can't wait to read Bradley's excuses.

best sight of the night was the king of doing things the right way, mr big mouth Bradley, still coaching and making calls just behind the dugout. Against the rules bradser, action from the FAI please.
Also, if goofy hadn’t tried to incite a riot and just celebrated his goal with his team I don’t think they’d have gone in behind at ht, it spurred our lads on. Thanks. No doubt either that rovers are told to do that by Bradley classless f**ks. Hardman Greene getting in Longs face as he walked off too, another dope.

one gripe I had this season watching or should I say try to watch was the amount of people standing in the middle parts of the stand they should be asked to either go to the end parts with the others or even go to the back of the stand not very fair on fans who want to sit in their seat .

wonder what Bradley will have to say about our match day coordinator, a club volunteer, being assaulted and verbally abused by himself and his little lap dog yes men, Cronin and mcphail?
I would hope this is brought to media attention and an official complaint to the FAI and Garda will follow? About time these cowards and their bullying tactics are called.

Derisable bunch. Immature for suppsoed champions.
Best 15 mins of entertainment I think I can remember in a football match. And Thanksfully second half was a damp squib. Best answer for the ****s theatrics? Promise scoring a worldly more or less from kick off. Followed up almost again form kick from Cornwall. Their manager cant control the **** and clearly didnt war him not to bring crap on himself and their team. Fair play to Bohs fans for going no further Terrible about the assualt and shocking for a professional management team to carry on like that. To see Bradley still trying to run the line in the second half was cringing, especially as they did f**k all. Long does what a respected manager should do and leave it to his more than capable number 2 Crolly They can take their league but theyve done f**k all for football in this country this season, either on the pitch or off it, in Ireland or abroad. Petty and small minded big budget bad losers Sligo next..... and a cup final to look forward to SheWore Edited by OohAah... - 15 Nov 2021 at 10:45am |

In fairness, I'd blame the officials for Bradley still be able to "manage" the game after his sending off.
The 4th officials have been heavily involved in decisions this season, so should have stepped up there as the ref may be preoccupied while them game is going on. If a manager is sent off, they should be told to go to the dressing room, same as the players.

Grim reading in an article from Dan McDonnell yesterday.
Could be Long's biggest rebuild yet. Bucko considering a move to Australia. Anto Breslin off to Pats with Shels being another possible destination. Lyons unlikely to re-sign. Tierney gone obviously, and Georgie likely to follow.

It will be very difficult for us to really build a team and keep them together on a limited enough budget .Having lads on short contracts makes moves inevitable and when we last paid out big money it didn't end well as with all other clubs as well .Keith has done a brilliant job really all things considered so a cup win would fantastic of course .

Yeah its worrying. Another rebuilding job might be step too far for Long all over again. Im hoping a few of them are just haggling for a better deal but I dont know

Qualifying for Europe and having that added bit of financial power will be crucial i feel. Long always seems to work his magic when we think the rebuilding job is impossible. Bucko would be a big big loss. Georgie as well. Talk of us re-signing Dano Kelly from Dundalk which would be brilliant, him and Burt on either flank would be almost at the level of Grant and Twardek, and i think Coote could do a job in Tierney's vacated role.
We need to sort out the defence, which has seriously lacked solidity, and especially if Bucko goes we'll need a couple of bastards in the team who can take a game by the scruff of the neck and lead by example.

Mallon has a year left too so that’s Burt to the 10 a possibility

Unfortunately, unless he gets himself sorted, Mallon can't be relied upon. Burt has the potential to be good in the 10, but really need to develop his strength as he gets knocked off the ball far too easy and refs in our league don't buy it when he goes down easily.
Kelly can be replaced, apart form the Derry goal, it's not as if he makes goals out of nothing. Bucko's loss would be the biggest, There's no one else in that team who can drag the others to raise their game. Very obvious that we need a few more experienced heads this season, but it's very hard to get players like that if you're not offering full-time football.
