It was as defensively weak a performance as you'll see. 3 of the starting 4 getting taken off says it all. The players looked miles off it, changes will have to be made over the next few games but that's not ideal heading in to the Pats game.

we did, and missed all of em, not sure even two scored would’ve stopped rovers, best team we’ve played easily.we’re playing for fourth.

Ye we had plenty of chances in fairness, and don't think Kelly's goal should have been disallowed at 2-0.
But it was such a weak defensive performance. The players looked wrecked and some of them could do with a break. Burt hasn't been great since the break, even in the Drogheda game he was quiet enough. All credit to Sligo though, they were excellent. Lewis Banks was the best player on the pitch, was instrumental in most of what Sligo created. After a poor re-start, Sligo were probably due a performance like that.

pats were a disgrace to their club tonight , O’Donnell squaring up to long on several occasions, forrester spat in cootes face( yes really) and Lyons was actually punched by one of their gobsh*tes, f**k me , what a bunch of skangers. Pure dirt.
