Great result for bohs and well done, you would think this game will have given poak the much needed match fitness that is required to see out the second leg. Hopefully before I die I would love see how far a loi club could go with propper investment there's definitely serious potential here.

Great performance. Got lucky at times with some poor finishing and goalkeeping from them but well worth the win. Similar to Dundalk in 2016, it's great to see an Irish team play with the belief that they can win, rather than trying to soak up pressure all the time.
One of the best European results in LoI history, and no one will have seen it unless they were at the game or paid for the stream. 3 teams in Europe this week and not one will be on national tv. Shameful. Ciaran Kelly was brilliant

This would have been some goal. Really interested to see how far Andy Lyons can go. Seems to play better against higher level teams.

In fairness to RTE the Olympics is a pretty much all your eggs in one basket type thing especially during Covid. Worth a fortune to them in ad revenue too. I'd personally be asking more questions of Virgin Media. They have a dedicated sports channel ffs

I don't think they would have shown any of these games this week even if they were no Olympics.

Yeah Virgin should be doing more too Head of RTE sport has no interest in football, Gary Cooke told me a few months ago, after Apres Match was cancelled. They’re a public service broadcaster and ignoring the most popular sport in the country, it’s very disappointing

Why don't TG4 broadcast games ?, they broadcast GAA, Rugby, Cycling so they cant hide behind the notion of purely showing irish sports.

They weren't showing any LOI teams in European action before the Olympics. Yet fine for them to pay and show U20 Rugby 6 nations games live at 3pm on weekdays the month before. Rovers beating Slovan Bratislava and Bohs beating PAOK and neither on national TV is a disgrace.

"It's believed that Bohs had even offered to forego their domestic revenue from the streaming service and offered the rights to the home games at the Aviva to RTE for free.
