Another goal today. Maybe hes getting his confidence back and has started scoring again regularly.

Hogan isn't that bad of a finisher, but his goals typically come from the 6 yard box. The only time we get near the opposition 6 yard box is from set pieces. He's also playing off Jutkiewicz as Birmingham play 2 up front, we won't do that either. He's basically fighting for the 75th minute sub place with Maguire. Still, at least he's scoring, Maguire isn't, so on that basis he might get the nod.

that’s some run of goals I felt around Christmas he should lose out to one of the young lads but in this form should be in the squad could be ideal in the last 20 minutes of games

Given MM has previously vested faith in him, I think we can take it he will definitely play a role in a few weeks time. McGoldrick will still start, and I expect Long will be back, but Hogan has every chance.

Hogan looks like he is enjoying playing alongside a big man at Birmingham in Jutkiejdjdndjemz. Kevin Phillips style.

You asked if I'd be anyone from history, fact or fiction, dead or alive:
I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995"

Anytime he’s played for us he’s been awful. Remember the sitter he missed form about a yard out. I think it was against New Zealand. Even though he’s banging them in I wouldn’t like to see him on the pitch unless it was a last roll of the dice
