One of the Chinese Super League clubs folded yesterday. Club was originally financed by what turned out to be a pyramid scheme (allowing them to buy Witzel and Pato in the past few years, and Cannavaro as manager). The Pyramid scheme was busted last year, and now they've no money left to bankroll it.

So, I'm learning more about how the CFA go about their business : I'm wondering whether they are taking some inspiration from Abbotstown...
- Diego Tardelli banned for one game for not fully respecting the anthem in the game here on Sunday. He was basically rubbing his face. - CFA take 55 Chinese under 25 players out of their teams with 5 games left to attend a military style training camp and scrap the rule in the league requiring each team to field a certain number of under 23s in their match day squads.

Ah, those Jiangu Sha-bi's, might as well head down, I miss heading to those random games. China should win too which will make it even better.

Yannick Carrasco also played in that 8-0 drubbing! What a waste of talent and still so young.

Jose Fonte and Nicolas Gaitan started for a Dalian team that lost the season opener 8-0, Oscar got a Hat trick.
Dalian was traditionally the football city in China, they'll be sick again that. Guangzhou Derby was 4-5 with R&F winning too, elsewhere Lavezzi missed a penalty and Witsel got one |

Anyone would be an idiot not to but it was ruining the game splashing silly salaries like that about. Thankfully the Chinese FA put a stop to that putting a 100% tax on non-Chinese players

Would you blame him for taking a contract offer like that? He took a huge pay cut to return to Boca before that anyway

Tevez has left Shanghai and gone ... Back to Boca
"It was always a dream to play for my boyhood club" except the time he left them to go on £600,000 a week in China for a grand total of 4 goals in return

Gus Poyet resigns from Shanghai. Completely out his depth.
Probably didn't help the fact the club spunked their budget and allocation on a washed up 33 year old on £600,000 a week for just 2 goals in return

Did he get banned for 8 matches or something? Ridiculous. All he did was kick the ball when it was in play ffs. He was acting the maggot by falling over when he was barely pushed but the punishment far from fits the crime.
