Scandalous to move the champions league game off the main channel for a women's football match Can imagine there will be some people thinking that when they go looking for the Real vs City match later. But I would say it shows how far the women have come that it should be the minority. It would be a non-issue switching either of the games to the news channel if they bloody fixed the quality of the news channel! Edited by t_rAndy - 09 Apr 2024 at 9:39am |

Proper order. Irish teams should always be prioritised over foreign multinationals. Probably wouldn't even be an issue if there wasn't an English team involved.

I'm not overly interested in the Women's NT but will watch a game if not much else on.
However, I would not watch European Super League football sponsored by oil money if it was on in my back garden. |

Probably an easy enough call for them to make given it’s Man City playing. Might have been a different story if it was Liverpool or Man Utd. Still good to see regardless.

This is arguably the toughest game they've had in the last 3 years. Fingers crossed from them they give a good showing and don't concede silly goals.

Bad luck with the goal - that ball could have deflected anywhere (and these English players know how to finish).

That's a hammer blow after a decent start. English players are a class above

Things not going to plan. It's a long time since we were 2-0 down to anyone (but we probably have not played a team of this quality in the last 3-4 years).

Oh right, I was thinking qualifiers / competitive games, not friendlies. The English look a quality outfit....clearly better than anyone we faced in the World Cup last year.

Poetic justice with that penalty hitting the post and out for a goal kick.
