Their relationship is like the DUP with the Brits : they even have the same national anthem

Great, wish I'd known that before I let them get my hopes up

Greece should just have scored. Free header six yards out.

Ah its like an accumulator.  Looks like its all going your way until a late goal costs you.

I said Cyprus would roll over for Greece.

I'm torn between wanting to be wrong so Eire can qualify and wanting to be proved right because, well, it's always nice to be able to say "I told you so" on the INTERNET.

Cyprus look like they are trying not to score..in good positions and won't try a shot or put a cross in

Cyprus took the lead. That's the oldest trick in the book when you're trying to throw a match. Make it look plausible.

Everton did exactly the same against Manchester City.

And like Cyprus, then conceded two quick first half goals.

Englands late goal against Slovenia seems massive now as it put them out. A draw and they would be playing for the playoffs like Scotland, therefore more chance of a draw. I was cheering Scotland on the other night but it's funny I'll be cheering Slovenia tomorrow

Don't agree. I think a draw there would've been good as it would've given Slovenia a more realistic chance at second. But even with that draw and a win over Scots they would only have 18 points whereas we must finish with 19.

If Cyprus had a decent striker then they might be able to pull one back
