They were fortunate to only loss 3-0, but hopefully Rapid can keep dropping points to the other teams and Dundalk can win the H2H with Rapid to nick 3rd place

Talk of 3rd place is very optimistic.

I’d be happy to just win one of the final 4 games.
Have Rapid away and then at home next.

Surely no-one is expecting them to take any points in this group - any seasoned LOI watcher would understand that this dundalk team are in ribbons and need a massive clear out in the off season. They are the 3rd best team in the league so talk of them winning any of these group games is folly, no?

Was amazed they didn't go for Brian Murphy when he moved back to Waterford. I know it's his hometown club but doubt he's on much, surely he'd have been interested if Dundalk had come in.

What players should be part of the clear out?

I would agree with that, but as long they have a slight chance they should aim to finish above Rapid (possibly 2 draws against them could do).

While their still in the hunt for 3rd, they may as well try and get it instead of settling for 6 moral victories

Thats mullarkey. Obviously no one expects anything from Arsenal but they have a chance in the other games to potentially get some points. And realistically there is damn all between themselves and shams despite what the table says. Sorry Bohs ur out

I defo thought he was letting a good few dodgy decisions go in Dundalks favour. Remember Gartlands pull on Willock alone. He was very pro Dundalk it seemed.LOL

It was disappointing approach from dundalk. Thinking to rovers against Milan, at least they had a go. Dundalk completely sat in.

Good shout that...he’d of been ideal for them.always thought cherrie was a better keeper than Rogers when he was there and he’d still be better than him now.

It was at the Emirates tho. Its not so much they didnt have a go i think they were just too scared of conceding 6 or 7 in the game. I agree it was disappointing they didnt have any real efforts on goal. I have to say i didnt like the talk in the build up to it. Sounded like they were just google eyed to be there. and that stuff about duffy and his middle name thierry. Fck sake keep that sh1te to yourself. You never got the impression they were going there looking for a result which is a little disappointing. At least give the public that impression.
