I just saw Giovagnoli's post match interview

He has great English and a very endearing personality

I'm sold on this guy

Top fella from what I can see. Had a few dealings with him for his first game with Dundalk down in Cobh and was very friendly and polite. Wasn't nice to see the dogs abuse he got when appointed and never bit once to his credit.

Interesting article on the BBC website about KI:

The population of Klaksvik is 5,000 and most the team are locals. Mad to think of Dundalk being the 'giants' in a giant killer scenario!

Not the worst of draws considering Milan were amongst the 3rd seeds.

I would say the ideal draw. The glamour English side plus the addition of sides that they could take points from. The 2016 side could have got second in this company. This years side is weaker though.

Agreed. You would think chance to get results from molde at least. Maybe rapid.

Exactly - you want one big team as a reward for getting to the group stages and two teams you have a chance to take points from...

Looks like one of the easier groups and logistically good too.

Molde and Wien both failed to make the EL stages too

Dundalk should take points off both those teams.

Should? Really?

Any points we pick up will be a bonus, I just hope we get a chance to get to some of the games
