f**king hell, where to start! Watching football on tv is a load of sh*te!!

Deserved it too, ropey start but after that we were better, struggled a bit last 15 but they never really looked like they would do anything.

I think any team in Europe would have taken hand and all if they were offered a home game against the Faroe champions for a place in the group stages, though some result for them tonight.

Next game is 300k if we lose, 2.9 million if we win, on top of the million we have already earned.

Rest the whole lot now on Sunday night.

To think it was all doom and gloom around Dundalk and Irish clubs in Europe when they lost to the Slovenian lads in the Champions League. Now a very winnable tie away from the EL group stages again. I see the Slovenian lads went out tonight too.

Honest question...will Peak 6 pocket the money that is won or will it be invested in the squad?

I wouldn't be counting the chickens yet if I was Dundalk. Yes, a home tie to a team from the Faroes on paper sounds like a banker, but you'd have to give that crowd respect after how they demolished Tbilisi earlier. Also, they will be well used to the plastic pitch and sh*t facilities in Orial Park. Think it will be a tight nervy game.

Is this the easiest ever route an Irish team has potentially had to navigate to get to a European group stage?

EDIT: Dundalk have confirmed the game is in the Aviva next Thursday

Well 3 away games, charter flights, accommodation will have made a big hole in it already, players probably get about 20% bonus too, so not as much as people think.
We have been living of the euro money since 2016, giving long contracts and taking a chance on some odd players, so they are prepared to spend the money.

In 2016, the club have said on many occasions they only pocketed just over 3m despite 7m being earned after all the expenses and bonuses were paid. Yet people are still asking what we did with the 7m

What have the facilities got to do with the match?
It hasn’t been confirmed where the game will be yet either.

Tbilisi only beat the welsh champions last week with a late goal, and after tonight it wouldn’t seem they are up to much. I don’t think anyone in the club will be taking it for granted, too much experience in there.

Surely they'd want the match at Oriel, no?

If Dundalk get to the group stage does that mean Giovagnoli is in line to be the next Republic of Ireland manager?
Danger here, OH NO

Id say that wud suit Dundalk having it in Aviva so. I dont know anything about this Faroe outfit but good big pitch for Dundalks players to passbit about. You wud have to back them to get through. Have to see how they thrashed Tbilsi. Wonder was it just one of those nights that everything went in for them.

Would it really suit Dundalk to play it in the Aviva? Surely they'd still want to play it in their own ground even with no supporters present.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

Presumably a straight choice Lansdown or Tallaght. Need a UEFA cat 4 stadium minimum, i think, for this stage

I think its crazy. Play it at Oriel with the pitch made from the recycled remains of Michael Jackson's corpse
