Finished it this evening. Im not sure what to think. I think its deeply aspirational in its final chapters. Essentially a re-occurance of the 2010-2012 years where he seemed to be in fairly decent shape. However, there are other little bits and pieces even beyond 2013-2014 which really don't paint him in the best light.

Lots of luck to the lad, and hopefully his current rehabilitation is ongoing.

Interesting to see how many each have one. Hurling seems very repetitive every year.

good man RB cheers. Already seen Rossieman told you how to find interview.
Read an extract in one of the papers the other day of the book and he told a story about spending a fortune in the bookies and down to his last 10er and no diesel in the car so he spent it on a bet. Then went out to the car and rummaged til he found 4quid and went in and bet it as well which left him running out of diesel before he got to a garage so he had to push the car in.
I read Oisin mcconvilles book a few years ago and he told nearly the exact same story. Now if I was a sceptic........

Clarke getting the All-Star certainly makes the 2016 Mayo heartbrake story more interesting.

"Dad - tell us another Mayo curse story!"

"Well, did I ever tell you about the time we dropped the All-Star keeper for the final?..."

Don't forget Hibs breaking their curse as well
Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Bill O'Herlihy: Ah ye can't be saying that now Eamonn
