Very true, some clubs never come back at all and end up becoming a caricature of a football club.

New year same sh*t. Like, how on earth does someone not commit a foul in the build up to the winning goal? You'd haul someone over the coals if you saw it in the phoenix park.

Well in it and go one up. Then changed tact completely and become disinterested again.

Subs Keating and leavy at critical point of the game.

That was a tim clancy performance.

No way we make 70 points.

It has to be a case of identity fraud. That fella has never played football before. Hes the worst Pats keeper I’ve ever seen. Odumusu is like peak Buffon in comparison

Asamoah looks quality.
Keeper done at his near post Cry
Daly will be under a bit of pressure. The new signings haven’t started well. The keeper is absolutely abysmal. The formation hasn’t worked either

The pace on Asamoah is on another level.

Midfield non-existent.

Pats getting blown away here.

Forrester is not half the player he once was. St Rat's were awful tonight. Good win for us tonight. Much better from last Friday's performance in Galway.

Considering he's just won The PFAI player of the year..

He's had a poor start to this season. No one is denying that.

We've been dreadful in four out of five games since the restart. The change in formation and the goalkeeper needs to be sorted out. Front players not getting any service. It looks like the last days of Tim Clancy.

Do you reckon Daly's days are numbered already or does the Cup win give him some time Tom?

On the evidence of this season alone he could well be on his way out over the next few weeks. the issues are largely of his own making.

He was backed by the club in the off season with most targets landed.

As I have said before, we have to move on from the idea that plucky contenders is ok. We've some of the largest crowds in the league and a chairman who backs us, so we have to capitalise while it lasts. We are producing players as good if not better than our competitors.

We give away far too many late goals costing point, while scoring relatively few.

I’ve never really rated Daly, I think the cup final against a very poorly set up Bohs papered over the cracks. I said in the off season to a Pats fan that I think both clubs will have new managers before the summer break
