All happening while Jeff was wearing a Hartlepool shirt with a waistcoat over it. You could tell Matt Le Tissier who was doing the Hartlepool match was gutted for him.

First time they've been out of the football league since 1921.

Yeah saw it alright. The whole studio just went to a complete silence LOL

All very biased against Newport but extremely entertaining to watch. Soccer Saturday is great at this time of the year.

The late Newport winner that saved them and broke poor Jeff's heart was scored by Mark O'Brien from Dublin.

Jeff Stelling really isn't liked! On hearing that Newport scored a chant of 'Jeff Stelling, what a w**ker' went up at Adams Park. He did get what he deserved, although a bit harsh on Pools after 96 years.

Leaving aside the name change, surely the answer to that is Jimmy Glass. It wasn't League 2 then, but that's surely an equal for drama.

Poor Paddy Madden, Championship football evades him yet again..

Rooting for Bradford to win now against the Family club of the year.

He was the worst player on the pitch before being taken off, very disappointing performance.

Peterborough sign a player from Dover, then they get an offer for him on the exact same day Geek

Has Darragh MacAnthony never had an interest in League of Ireland football? Although he is up there with 1 of the most annoying Chairmen ever, he's not a lunatic, more of the Simon Jordan type

Who put a bid in for Ricky Miller? A fantastic finisher but has never passed the ball in his life.

MacAnthony is as corrupt as they come, hence why he gets on so well with Bazza! His property company, MRI, ripped off a lot of people in Spain, where I think he grew up? He might have went to boarding school in Dublin but his dad owned nightclubs on the Costa Del Sol.
They are definitely up to no good there, he said today that they would take the grubby money to vote for the B teams in the Checkatrade, where has all the transfer money gone? They have made a fortune selling players on. He is very good at talking bullsh*t, it is easy to see why him and Bazza get on!

Jermaine Beckford joins Bury.. Some signing Lee Clark has pulled off there. Doesn't change the fact he's still a traitor.

You'd expect a partnership of Beckford and James Vaughan (were together at both Everton and Huddersfield) would steer the club alot clear than relegation!

It was an unnamed club for Ricky Miller but the fee was £250,000 PM.

Bury aren't f**king around are they... Another 2 signings and in talks with Dublin's Jay O'Shea..
Turned down a chance to play in the Championship with Sheff Utd, was offered a 2 year contract but he's decided to talk to Bury instead

I can still see Luton coming back to force extra-time, if they stay patient, but it would be a disaster to see the Oystons go up.
Luton get one back.Clap
