I recall reading a feature a number of years back on Josh Cullen and Declan Rice potentially being both West Ham's and Ireland's future midfield partners. Ironically at the time, Rice was viewed as the player more apt to remain with Ireland.  Funny how things work out.  Love every aspect of Cullen's game.  He is so easy to root for. Quickly becoming my favorite player.

i think possibly a move back to west ham might be on the cards , he is certainly good enough to play at that level

Why do you think that?
Rice plays that position currently (chances are he might move though this summer or next).

Personally, I like Cullen and he had a good game yesterday but don't think he would be good enough to take over from Rice

It is a real pity he lacks a yard of pace to go with the rest of his game. Been very good for a while now after taking an age to get into the team when it was obvious he was up to it.

Simply because moyes didn't want to lose him in the first place and also noble even though slightly different is about to retire , he also won't cost a lot of money and will easily play twenty odd games a season, depends if he wants that though , but there will be a huge amount of interest regardless , and i would expect him to leave Belgium.

With Noble retired and Kral’s loan over a midfielder like Cullen would make a lot of sense for WH. And even has the potential to supplant the likes of Soucek.

Think Cullen's main focus for any move very well could be who'll offer him the most money rather than the most minutes.

He's 26 and gets paid less than the highest paid player at Luton Town who have one of the lowest budgets in the Championship.

Don't know how reliable this is but the inevitable link to Burnley for Cullen! https://twitter.com/BradJonesJourno/status/1536704241557020672?t=EVVCGENo_g9yKizKLKqT2Q&s=19

That transfer feels as inevitable as the Jeff Hendrick to Newcastle one did last summer.

Kompany would have Burnley attempting to play football you would hope but Cullen could still do better.

I am Cullen's biggest fan but this would be a very dissapointing move if he made it. Kompany loves him I'm sure but going from being a key player in one of the top sides in one of the top 6/7 Leagues in Europe to Burnley in the Championship up to their eyeballs in debt.

Would be a sideways move at best for me.

Anderlecht not an underperforming team in a league a bit better than the Scottish one, in fairness?

Remember Dominic Foley plundering goals in that league.
