The diameter of the golf cup is 4 1/4 inches.

Way back in the day the holes were all different sizes.
Somebody in 1829 had the idea of using a drainpipe as the "official" size.

If you go into a hardstore today, the standard drain pipes are still 4 1/4 inches

Thank you Ken Brown

Matthew Briggs the youngest player to play in the Premiership is currently playing for Colchester. At nearly 27 he has emmassed under 100 league appearances. Thought he was going to be a super player. Forgot he existed then until today!

I thought Man Utd fielded a player in the last game of last season that became the youngest ever to play in the EPL?

Lyon football club was formed in 1899 and have won the Ligue1 7 times - ALL of which were in a row from 2002-2008.

Its a pretty competitive league in that nobody has won it more than 10 times.

Marseille   10
Saint-Etienne   10
Nantes   8
As Monaco   8
Lyon  7
Bordeaux   6
PSG   6
Stade de Reims   6

Marseille have technically only won 9 as they were stripped of the 92-93 title for match fixing. PSG then declined the title so that season has no winner

They also won the forerunner to the current national league, the French amateur championship, which is counted by the FFF in terms of overall titles.

There was no Australian Open Grand Slam Tennis tournament held in 1986.
Up to and including 1985 the tournament was held in November/December.
It was then decided to switch it to January.
So the 1985 tournament was held in Nov/Dec 1985.
And the next tournament was held in January 1987.
