There was only one non-terror related murder in New York City on 9/11.
A Polish immigrant was killed in Brooklyn on the night of the attack.
His murder remains unsolved.
As the deaths of the 9/11 attack victims are not listed in the City's crime statistics, his death is the only homicide recorded in NYC on that date.

I remember reading somewhere that he said there was a reason Hitler picked on them and questioning why they were so submissive in the concentration camps.  He also cheated on his wife with her best-friend and hated children.
