Surprised Adriano didn't come close to winning it either, he was brilliant for 2 or 3 years there with Parma and Inter

Was a relative failure for the only big club he played for. Has a great International record though.

He only had one season were he scored more than 15 league goals. Great header of the ball and obviously well suited to the German international team. If he played for his country of birth I’d say we wouldn’t know who he was.

Klose is currently the coach of the Bayern Munich U17 team, they must have seen something they liked. |

You could tell how good Baggio was from the way he basically single handedly elevated Brescia from fighting relegation to qualifying for Europe. He was there for four seasons and I think they were top half for all of them then when he left they were relegated the next season. He was something else. Weah and Ronaldo were monsters but they weren't as good as Baggio in lifting an entire team.

If he hadn’t missed that penalty he would have left a more secure legacy. He nearly won that World Cup himself, with the greatest of respect to their defence. He was sensational.

Agree Recently rewatched highlights of 94 world cup. Scored every goal for Italy(bar 1 scored by Dino Baggio) from the knockout stages onwards, and if memory serves me correct he wasn't even 100% fit during the World Cup. See below
