Wasn't there a rumour about him having an affair with his wife's granddaughter? Not sure if it is in anyway connected to this, or true either, but it was one piece of celebrity gossip that I remember, largely due to the oddness of it.

Was the granddaughter adopted? He'd known her since she was a young child, which makes it even worse. I think she was only 27 when their relationship came out, he was 70 odd.

For quality of analysis and entertainment, that seems fair. Boris Becker deserves around a million, simply for sounding like the tubby exchange student in The Simpsons.

Well more last night...

Watched a doc on German reunification, Maggie Thatcher carried around a map of German border from 1937 in opposition to German reunification showing everyone the danger of a United Germany.

She really was a wagon

Also claimed in an interview "We defeated the German twice , now they're back" sorry luv it was the Yanks and the Russians who defeated the Germans not the British.
