Football agents earned $494.4m (£430.8m) in the latest transfer window, says governing body Fifa.

They released a snapshot report detailing analysis of international transfer activity over the summer.

It reveals that football agents collectively banked almost 10% of the $5bn (£4.36bn) total value of male player transfers.

I see former Dundalk keeper Gary Rogers is now a football agent with GestiFute.

He was involved in the Fabio Viera move from Porto to Arsenal.

Stupid proposal, clearly just an attack back at FIFA's plans, teams deserve to be compensated for the work and structures they put in to develop players.

Agents are necessary. Players are too young and stupid to do contract negotiations on their own against clubs with big legal teams.

Paul Pogba's agent Mino Raiola has had a three-month worldwide ban from football activity suspended by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (Cas) after he filed an appeal.

Raiola, was initially banned by the Italian Football Federation, before Fifa's disciplinary committee extended the sanctions worldwide in May.

He may resume activities outside of Italy as Cas processes his appeal.

Cas says a final decision will be confirmed at the beginning of July.

Paul Pogba's agent Mino Raiola has been given a three-month ban from football activity by Fifa's disciplinary committee.

Raiola was banned on Wednesday by the Italian Football Federation and Fifa has now extended the sanctions to have "worldwide effect".

The ban begins with immediately and will end after the English summer transfer window closes.

Raiola represents various high-profile players including Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The Italian Federation did not give the reasons for the ban but Raiola said it was a sentence "based on  lies from Raiola".
