Whats the point in making Europe if you dont bother to play yoir best players. The league is won anyway. Very disappointing from Shams away from home. Same old story.

Why is Byrne Burke and Gaffney not playing? I see they are on the bench. Bradleys selections in Europe have been too conservative. Selects his teams to be compact but they end up losing anyway away from home. Why not have a go. Still might lose but at least you will lose trying.
Priorities - league takes precedent. Money made from europe,  probably look to pick stronger teams for the home games to pick up extra money from a draw or two.
The league should’ve been wrapped up long before tonight, seems a shame after doing the hard part and qualifying
Important to win the league again to qualify next season,  it'll take a number of years accruing the financial clout to be sustain a competitive team in european competitions. This is only the start.

They've obviously played 2 good sides in the last 2 games but the state of the defending in the last 2 games would have to worry Rovers fans and fans of the league in general. Absolute panic every time the ball gets near their box, and the inability to clear lines and/or not make bad mistakes.

Rovers are by far the best team (Derry bridging the gap this season) in the league but if that's the level of performance, then the league is a lot further away, in terms of quality, than we thought.

As 9F said, it's a shame to get this far and then leave such quality players on the bench. It's not as if it's a cup final coming up at the weekend, or even a game against Derry.

Kind of felt like "we are going to lose anyway so let's not waste the energy of our main players". Kind of like not contesting a line out in rugby.

It is obviously most important to win the league but they could have tried to be a bit stronger with team selection.

Comes before a fall....
Or in the defences case, a calamity. Unaccustomed to being put under pressure domestically, so panic and fold like a pack of cards.

Maybe that gap in quality is just too big at the moment ?? . No way does that excuse the lack of effort and the defencive errors/immaturity . I know Bradser wanted to keep some of the lads fresh as possible for tomorrow but to expect the eleven he started  to give it everything is not a big ask. I expected more - we all did . Ah,,put it ta bed and move on.

Deserved it after that 2nd half. Threw everything at it in awful conditions. There are problems at the back though. It's the priority area to strengthen in the winter

Great game given the conditions, came across it on the box by chance.

Wow...out of jail there. Think team selection last Thursday is justified by winning at the death.

Agree . And the determination to not stop - as they did several times last season , gave them a huge three points . Well done Hoops .

Some good link-up play and touches around the box by Towell in particular. Woeful composure in front of goal and awful long-range efforts though. Even if Shams score, you'd fancy Molde to step it up again against this defense.

Shams are the better side no doubt tonight although Molde look dangerous on the break. No real cutting edge upfront as per usual. Burke should be brought on. Greene is a very good player but he wont score many. Still can get something out of this yet
