Shamrock Rovers Thread

Subs made a difference when they came on, McCann particularly. On a broader note, Rovers really need to take stock at the end of the season and sign 4 or 5 young talented players and assimilate them into the group. Cruel as it may be but the injury prone players need to be moved out and replaced. On top of that Mannus, Finn, Gannon, O'Brien, McCann, Towell, Greene are all getting on a bit, so squad needs refreshing up. Recruitment will be so important in getting the right players, dont want to repeat the mistakes of SK in signing marquee players who are there for the mulla.

If for nothing else to take their money and hopefully go 3 points closer to the 19th title in front of them, so for proper footballing reasons!!!   Now this is all based on what he told me but he also said away fans for other games (including Derry which was mentioned on here) were offered tickets, albeit only 150/200 but the clubs returned the tickets with some saying they couldn't sell them all.
